Reverie is the private social network for your family. It’s a feed for the people you invite and nobody else — the everyday photos, the milestones, the Tuesday nothing-much — with no ads, no strangers, and no algorithm deciding what you see.

Underneath the feed is where your family’s story is kept: memorials the family tends together, physical tags that lead to them, albums for the nights worth keeping, and a Legacy Vault for the letters and wishes you want opened later.

The people you invite. There are no public profiles, no search, and no way to find someone you don’t know. Every post has a privacy toggle — just you, or the family — and your feed is simply newest first.

The one thing that can be public is a memorial you choose to put behind a physical tag, so that anyone who scans the headstone or urn can pay their respects. You decide that, per memorial, and you can make it private again whenever you like.

Nothing bad. Reverie is free for families, and Reverie Family only adds room — more storage, longer videos, voice memos, the Legacy Vault. If a subscription ends, everything you’ve already kept stays visible to you and your family.

A tag is a small engraved metal or ceramic disc with a QR code, made for a headstone, an urn, a collar, or a frame. Scanning it with a phone camera opens the memorial: in the app if it’s installed, and otherwise on a web page where anyone can read the story, sign the guest book, and light a candle — no app and no account needed.

If a memorial is private, a scan shows nothing but an invitation to open it in Reverie. Lose a tag and you can deactivate it in one tap — scans stop immediately — and request a free replacement that leads to the same memorial.

A Keeper is a trusted co-custodian of a memorial. Whoever creates a memorial can invite others to help care for it, and the role decides how much: a Keeper can add and edit everything and invite others to help; an Archivist keeps the photos and recordings; a Storyteller adds the stories; a Visitor can visit, light a candle, and sign the guest book.

Everyone invited can pay their respects. Not everyone can rewrite the page — and that is the point.

From the app, send an invitation by link or by email. When your family member joins, they land already connected to you — no friend requests, no searching. Invite links are single-use and expire, so if someone else used yours, just send a fresh one.

Nobody can join your family without an invitation. That is what makes it a family and not a network.

Family on Android aren’t shut out in the meantime: memorial pages, invitations, and event albums all open on the web.

In the app: Settings → Delete Account. You’ll be asked to type DELETE to confirm, and then your profile, your memorials, your albums and photos, and your connections are permanently removed. It cannot be undone, so ask for an export first if you want a copy.

Reverie Occasions is for restaurants, banquet halls, and the places families book for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and the meal after a funeral. When the party is booked, the family gets a private album. A small card on the table carries a QR code; guests scan it, add a photo and a line from a web page, and they’re done — no app, no account.

The family keeps everything. The venue sees counts, never photos, and lives on quietly inside the memory as the place it happened. Read about Occasions.
